Life Hair and Beauty officially opened its doors in 2004, and was founded by beautician Aisling Healy. With a highly qualified friendly and welcoming staff, we are always training and updating our knowledge and skills. We offer a full spectrum of cosmetic and therapeutic treatment to meet all our client needs, both male and female. Every day, we strive to make our clients feel at home, comfortable and welcome and take great pride in providing excellent client care.

In 2013, we added our laser hair removal clinic, and in 2017 we added a new tattoo removal service.

Aisling Walsh
Founder of Life HQ

Aisling trained in Georgina's College of Beauty Therapy in 1999.
She qualified in ITEC, CIBTAC CIDESCO and after working in a reputable salon in Sligo for five years, Aisling took the plunge and opened Life Hair & Beauty in 2004 at the age 24. She has since completed BTEC Laser light in 2016 in Nottingham, UK, followed by further studies in tattoo removal. She loves working with the team at Life HQ and really enjoys catching up with her clients each day. Her specialities include tattoo removal and nails.

Jamie Henderson
Beauty Therapist

After traveling around OZ for a year, Jamie qualified in 2012 from Southwest College Enniskillen, with City and Guilds. With five years in the spa industry, she joined Life HQ in 2016. She specialises in make-up, HD Brows and facials. She recently got married and welcomed the new arrival of a puppy. She loves keeping fit and spending time with her dog.

Claire Mannion
Beauty Therapist

Claire studied at Georgina's College of Beauty Therapy, Galway and qualified in 2003 with ITEC CIBTAC and CIDESCO. Prior to joining Life HQ, Claire worked in local spas and salons before joining Life HQ in 2015. Her favourite treatments include doing laser hair removal for clients. She enjoys cycling and running and and enjoys the great outdoors in Sligo.

Veronica Curran
Receptionist

Veronica worked in retail for years before the big change, joining the team at Life HQ in 2016. A bright and warm welcome greets you at reception when Veronica is at reception. She enjoys walking swimming, reading and fashion.

Saoirse Byrne
Beauty Therapist

Saoirse studied in Georgina's College of Beauty Therapy in Galway. She graduated in 2015 with ITEC CIBAC AND CIDESCO. She joined us here at Life HQ part time during her studies, and joined full time after graduation in 2015. She specialises in eyelash extensions makeup and HD brows.

Andrea Gilmartin
Receptionist

Andrea has been working with Life HQ since 2016. A dedicated make up junkie. she is a real people person and enjoys welcoming everyone coming through the door of our salon.

Sabrina Somers
Beauty therapist

Trained in Fermanagh College and Mayo VEC, Sabrina completed ITEC and City and Guilds over 21 years ago. She joined the team at Life HQ in 2009 and enjoys meeting clients each day. She tends not to view her job as work and sees it as an opportunity to meet interesting people all the time. Sabrina specialises in nails and skin care.
